Delete your account

Option 1: delete in the app

The quickest way; data is deleted right away.

1. Open Qelunai and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Read the notice, then tap Delete permanently.
5. If the app asks you to sign in again, do so, then tap Delete account once more.

Option 2: send an email

Can’t open the app? Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Qelunai account deletion request”. If you used Sign in with Apple with a hidden email, say so in your message.

We verify the request, delete the account and its data within 30 days, and reply to confirm.

What gets deleted

• All of the account’s data on Cloud Firestore: birth profiles, cast history, memorial days and technical sync data.
• The Firebase Authentication account: email, user ID, sign-in provider, hashed password.
• The copy of your data on the device, and any memorial-day reminders (when you delete in the app).

Data that is not in your account

• Consent records are kept only on the device; uninstall the app to remove them.
• Usage statistics and crash reports (only if you turned them on) are not linked to your account and hold no name or birth date; Google keeps them under its own policy.
• Purchase history and subscriptions are held by Apple or Google. Deleting your account does not cancel Qelunai Plus: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.

Only want to delete some data?

No need to delete the account: delete a single profile in the Charts tab, clear your cast history, or choose Profile > Delete all profiles and history. The data is removed from the device and from your account at the next sync.
